Griselda Gomez was born and raised in Mexico City. After completing a Business Administration degree, Griselda worked at an educational travel company in Mexico City as the Country Program Manager for the high school year abroad program. She was also in charge of starting and managing the au pair branch in Mexico. After four years, Griselda was offered a position as the Operations Manager for Latin America at the company's headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Griselda was further promoted to Tour Director and Operations Manager following her move to the States. In August 2006, Griselda joined MISTI as the MIT-Mexico Program Manager. She has since been named the program's Managing Director. Griselda was a board member of One Lowell, a non-profit organization, and is currently a member of the advisory group for the “Red de Talentos Mexicanos” New England Chapter.
